The Post Graduate Department Of Commerce of this institution has strained every nerve to put the college on the path of academic excellence, research inclination and innovative methodologies of learning on the course of its existence since its commencement. The department had taken great studies in unveiling three National Paper Presentations from 2013 to 2015.
The First National Paper Presentation Competition on the topic “Financial Literacy In India ,Tapping The Untapped” was brought in to reality on 17th December 2013 inaugurated by Mrs Sony V.K, Manager, Federal bank. There were 37 participants in the presentation.
The Second National Paper Presentation Competition on the topic “Corporate Goverance In Emerging Markets: Practices and Paradigms” was held on 22nd November 2014 inaugurated and the key note address was given by Mr.M.M Zachariah, FCA .The total number of participants in that presentation was 48.
Third National Paper Presentation on the topic “Micro ,Small and Medium Enterprises :Trajectories and Paradigms Of Sustainable Business” took place on 31st October 2015 was inaugurated by Dr.Griesh kumar, Associate Professor, Nirmala College .The total number of participants in this presentation reached up to 73.These Three National Paper Presentation Competition ushered the college into the domain of academic flourishment and advancement.
Having taken inputs from these Three National Paper Presentations, an academic journal of ISBN oriented nature titled “Emerging Horizons in Finance” has been released .It is first of its kind in Kristu Jyoti College Of Management And Technology. This academic exploration into further afield related to Commerce and Finance continues unabated and unrelentless in the years to come in the research landscape and frame work of this college.
