Post Graduate Department of Psychology, Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, offer Bachelor Degree in Psychology (BSc Psychology) with a prima facie perspicacious vision to meet the contemporary demand  for Psychologists in the HealthCare Management, Corporate – Industry, Education, and Mental Wellness. We ensure the implementation of the course with utmost care to contribute the existing knowledge bank in Psychological sciences with an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to enrich human resources through research, training and varieties of knowledge dissemination processes to address various psychosocial and developmental issues prevailing in our society under the supervision and guidance of eminent academicians and scholars. The key highlight of this course is that each core paper is integrated with theoretical views and experiments. Learning is aided  through experienced academic lectures , classroom activities, laboratory experiments, field experience, and virtual classroom learning. Modern technologies are being employed to enhance e-learning which helps the students for better and deep understanding of concepts. In addition to the curriculum, students will be given more  opportunities to enhance their personal and professional competencies through seminars, workshops, conferences, activities of psychology society, and contributions to journal, book, and media clubs periodically. Facilities would be given to the students to undergo personal counselling, career guidance, and placement in multinational companies. 

 

Admission Procedure

Duration of the course

The course shall extend over a period of three academic years consisting of six semesters.

Eligibility Criteria

A pass in Plus two or equivalent examination with Commerce or Science with Mathematics and not less than 50%.

Learning & Assessment

The medium of instruction shall be English. There shall be comprehensive and continuous assessment of the students on an internal basis and semester wise examinations conducted by University. The final assessment shall be based on both the above components in accordance with the timely given provisions and regulations of the University.

College owns the capacity to have 80 students in an academic year.
